ASUS UL30A-A2: is 12 Hours Battery Life Enough For You?

ASUS UL30A-A2 Thin and Light Having a laptop that doesn’t make to always stay close to power cord has been my dream for a long time. I don’t have any PCs. I do rely on my laptop to work. Of course the portability is the main reason to do so. But my laptop is not an exception as problems with laptops are usually about the the battery life and the speed and ability to handle complicated task at ease.
Choosing the best laptop for our need is sometimes so complicated. It is a big purchase. We don’t want to waste our hard earned money on something that will let us down in the end. We have to be sure that this is it, the laptop that we need.
Read 7 Laptops With More Than 5 Hours Battery Life!
From some laptops declared to have long lasting battery life, I fall in love with Asus UL-30A2. At first, it is because of its color. I love silver these days, and when I saw it, I told my self that someday I will have it. But that was just my first impression.
Can we trust our first impression? Well, it depends on you guys. But this time I trust it. So then I did some deep search about Asus UL-30-A2 on the net. And here is the summary.

What is the best thing you’ll get from Asus UL30-A2?

If you are looking for a thin and light laptop, Asus UL30-A2 will not let you down. This laptop weighs less then your calculus book! You can easily carry it in your backpack. This lightness means everything for an ultra mobile person like student.
Whatta divine hardware! Asus UL30-A2 has a bright and vibrant display. The screen is so bright and vibrant. The speakers are unlike other laptops. They're situated underneath the laptop, towards the front. This smart speaker’s positioning will take the table’s hard surface to reflect the sound. It will amplify the sound without wasting your battery life.
Long lasting battery life! Battery is the best thing you’ll get from this Asus UL30. Well, it is fair enough for you to know that you’ll get 12 hours battery life on this laptop, but you’ll need to sacrifice a lot of things. But if you are just like me, using this UL30 to browse the web, play music, watch videos, and other quite fair computing activities, you can have around 8 to 9 hours battery life. When you are only typing some documents, yes you can get about 12 hours. Now, you don’t have to worry about the battery. Let other people wasting their time looking for power cord. Others only have 2-3 hours on a charge.
It is silver! Maybe you are now ask yourself, why the ____ this person love silver very much? Actually, it is because the black one will ‘absorb’ any fingerprints probably made on laptops case. Silver is silver.

What you won’t get from Asus UL30-A2?

Optical drive. The lighter and longer battery life of course sacrifice this bulky and power eater peripheral. But do you think that you really need any optical drive on your laptop? How many times a month do you really use it? Is it worth enough to keep? I don’t think so. I spend a lot of my time on the road, so I will just drop it. Buying an external optical drive is one option we can consider then. Not having an optical drive should be no big deal.
Bluetooth connection. This is the biggest thing I have to admit as the lowest point of Asus UL30-A2. I’m using my cell phone as a modem. And the best way to connect your cell phone to your laptop is through Bluetooth. Of course it is possible to connect them via data cable, but that wouldn’t be that simple. People wouldn’t noticed that you are connected to the internet through your cell phone when you connect them through Bluetooth, right? Well, buying cheap Bluetooth dongle is an option. Although I consider internal Bluetooth is still better.

Samsung ST30 Lets You Take Great Shots, Anytime, Anywhere

Samsung ST30 The Samsung ST30 is roughly the size of an average cell phone, making it the ideal device to stash away into your pocket or handbag, although we do wonder whether at that size, most people would prefer to stick to their cell phone cameras which frankly speaking, aren’t too shabby at all when it comes to snapping photos and recording videos. At least Samsung has decided to endow the ST30 with a unique design finished with a high quality metal body and party enhancing color of your choice.
Digital cameras sure have come a long way from their VGA roots, and nowadays the two-digit megapixel limit is fast approaching its twenties even for the most basic of models from the gamut of manufacturers out there. Samsung intends to cater to a broad spectrum of users, with their ST30 model touted to deliver great shots just about anytime and anywhere despite coming in an ultra portable form factor.
Being small doesn’t mean it is short on features – no sir, Samsung has thrown in Smart Auto focus which is an internal battery charging system, a 28mm lens and 3x power optical zoom into its fun-sized body. Not only that, the additional image stabilization will deliver more value to your camera experience, preventing even the tiniest shake so that you will get the sharpest images all the time. Of course, we do have our doubts about that claim since low light conditions are always a tricky environment for a camera to be in.
An advanced 10.1-megapixel sensor will provide sharp, crisp detail to make your images stand out from the crowd, while it will be accompanied by an innovative face detection technology, Red-eye fix and even next generation technology which is capable of detecting facial blinking. Basically, it means that whether it’s bright disco lights or sunshine, you are able to make sure that the eyes of your subjects are open and ready for the perfect shot. Not only that, the ST30 will also perform a quick Photoshop fix – evening out skin tones, erasing blemishes and removing dark circles for you to control the quality of your appearance in any situation.
